Perfect for us in mass plantings on sunny slopes and landscape borders.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing to about 2 feet tall in a mound to 5 feet wide or more, the Blue Sargent Juniper is excellent for use as a groundcover on large to small slopes and embankments, as a border in landscape beds, or as a low-growing foundation shrub. It is equally useful in small groupings or as an underplanting for small trees such as the Japanese Maple and Crape Myrtle, to mention a few. Growing Preferences
Blue Sargent Juniper is exceptionally easy to grow. It adapts well to most any average, well-drained soil and prefers full sun, however will tolerate some light shade. As with so many other ornamental plants, constantly soggy or wet soil can cause root rot or other harmful plant diseases. It is very low maintenance plant that requires no pruning and when established has very good drought tolerance.

All six plants arrived in excellent condition. Couldn’t have been better! Very well packed to keep the plants well protected from damage as they traveled half way across the country.
The shrubs themselves are gorgeous. Wilson Bros must take very good care of the plants in their nursery. I couldn’t be more pleased.
My mom enjoyed gardening, and planted many junipers around the yard. I didn’t expect to have an emotional reaction upon opening the box and seeing them. As they grow, they’ll be a loving reminder of mom and her garden.————————————————–Hi Jack, Oh my goodness, thanks so much for taking the time to provide your review of the Blue Sargent Juniper. We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy them for years to come! Thanks for the wonderful review and kind words! 🙂
